About the Job
Aluminium Welder
Location: Austria 🇦🇹
Your Tasks:
Perform high-quality welding work in aluminium production for rail vehicles
Assess weld preparation based on production documentation
Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols (EN ISO 2553) and parts lists
Work independently according to WPS and technical drawings
Set welding parameters depending on material thickness, weld geometry and welding position
Your Profile:
Completed vocational training in a metalworking profession
Several years of experience with MIG and TIG welding processes
Valid welding certificates (fillet welds/butt welds) in material groups 22, 23, 24 according to CEN ISO/TR 15608 in processes 131 and 141
Practical experience in assembly and welding work on aluminium components
Confident handling of thin sheet metal and welding of HV, HY, Y, lap, butt and T-joints (EN ISO 9606-2)
